It sings!  This one is a medium hot true garlic flavor, and a favorite of many.  Very limited quantities in 2009.

German White is our favorite all around garlic.  We often refer to it as our utility garlic.  Raw it’s got a sharp, spicy bite that will put kick into your pesto.  Roasted it’s nice, mellow and full flavored.  We use this for anything and everything.  4-8 cloves per head.  These cloves tend to be larger than any of our other varieties.

Sold out for 2010.  We may have a small amount of seed sized stock at the Saugerties Garlic Festival, but our stores are low.

We know that some of you may not be all about the heat.  That’s OK, we’ve got you covered. Raw, Ukrainian Red has an initial bite that dissipates quickly leaving a nice buttery finish.  This is a great garlic to use with olive oil for bread dipping.

We also love to throw whole cloves in with our roasted vegetables.  8-10 cloves per head.

Our Spanish Roja is a nice medium heat garlic that has a nice complexity to the true garlic flavor.  This is one of our best sellers, and the flavor is a big part of why. 8-12 cloves per head.

This is how a new variety name is born.  We purchased our original stock from an organic grower in Central NY.   This garlic was named after their neighbors who had been growing the previously unnamed garlic for years and years.  It’s a winner!

Marjean is a mild garlic with a very pungent garlic profile.  Eat a few raw cloves every morning and everything will taste like garlic clear through dinnertime!  These also taste great roasted with other veggies!
